Introduction:
Embarking on the path to self-discovery and spiritual growth is a deeply personal journey, and for many, finding guidance and inspiration in the form of a spiritual retreat can be transformative. In this episode of the Endless Possibilities Podcast, Eva and Gareth delve into the enchanting world of Darshan and spiritual retreats, sharing their unique experiences and the profound impact it had on their lives.
The Shaktipat Experience:
At the heart of the retreat experience is the profound practice of Shaktipat, a transmission of divine energy from the spiritual teacher to the participants. In this episode, the speaker takes us through the intricate details of the retreat he attended, highlighting the initial focus on giving Shaktipat during the first two days. Participants gather in a circle, meditating while two individuals at a time receive the transformative energy through physical touch on the knees and the powerful Third eye Shaktipat on the third eye during the evening sessions.
The Retreat Experience:
Gareth vividly describes the structure of the seven-day intensive retreat, starting from the arrival of participants a day prior to the official start to a one-hour meditation session each morning at 8:00 a.m. The retreat not only offers an elevated meditation experience, but also includes carefully curated vegan and vegetarian meals, creating a nourishing and high-quality culinary experience. With each session lasting approximately an hour and a half to an hour and 45 minutes, the speaker moves attentively from person to person, facilitating profound connections, and offering specific touch on the heart, upper chest, and back of the neck.
The Power of Darshan:
During the podcast, Gareth and Eva discusses the unique concept of Darshan, where deep connection and transmission take place through eye contact, hands, and feet. This transcendent experience allows participants to be touched at the soul level, awakening memories of their true nature and purpose. The speakers, having both received Darshan before, share their experiences with the audience, emphasizing how this profound encounter brings them closer to the Divine. It is evident that this exchange of energy and information has a deep impact on those who may not have encountered such a connection before.
Samadhi and the Flavor of Meditation:
The intention for this retreat was to explore different flavors or experiences of Samadhi, the state where one's awareness is drawn back into the absolute. As discussed in the episode, the speaker plans to incorporate various flavors of Samadhi into their Youtube sessions, switching between different styles and using color coding as a distinguishing factor. This approach aims to enhance the transformative potential of each meditation, allowing participants to expand their consciousness and delve deeper within themselves.
Conclusion:
Spiritual retreats, such as the one described in this episode of the Endless Possibilities Podcast, offer a beautiful opportunity for self-exploration, growth, and deep connection with the divine. Through practices like Shaktipat and Darshan, participants experience profound shifts in consciousness and the nurturing of their souls. The transformative power of these retreats allows individuals to embark on a journey towards self-realization, unlocking their true potential and purpose in life.As we continue on our individual journeys, it's important to remain open to these transformative experiences and embrace the endless possibilities that await us. Whether you are seeking connection, healing, or a deeper understanding of yourself and the universe, spiritual retreats can offer a path of immense growth and profound revelations. The speaker in this episode beautifully encapsulates the magic and significance of retreats, serving as a reminder that our journey towards self-discovery is ever-evolving and filled with endless possibilities.

at a Spiritual Retreat Gareth:
Hello, and welcome to the Endless Possibilities podcast. My name is Gareth, and I'm joined today by my good friend and co host, Eva. Hello, Eva.
Eva:
Hi, Gareth . It's nice to be back with you on a podcast. Yes, it's been a while.
Gareth:
We've missed one or two weeks, haven't we? Well, technically, we haven't missed one or two weeks because we had pre recorded two before we left with Ken, who was our last guest and was in two, so but I did miss doing these podcasts with you while we were away in Portugal on retreat.
Eva:
Yes, exactly. It's nice. I really love to have guests on because it's always so interesting what they have to share and their unique journey. It's so interesting, right? But then it's also nice to switch it up a little bit and then we have a conversation, the two of yeah.
Gareth:
So today is just the two of us.
Eva:
Exactly.
Gareth:
And we have a whole series of topics we're going to talk about, from darshan to retreats to podcasts to some upcoming events. Myself and Eva are going to look at doing so. Yeah, lots to delve into today. Where should we start? Eva? Do we want to briefly talk about the last podcast we did with Ken? Just because a lot of people reached out to me and they really liked the whole Ken story, and it was very exciting, and his whole story inspired a lot of yeah, yeah.
Eva:
I also got very good feedback, first of all, because Ken is such a nice and loving he's really he really resonates with a lot of people. And then also, he has such a exciting way of describing his life or his, like, very high energy. So that's what people really enjoyed as well. And he put so much work I don't know for everybody who watched the YouTube videos, but he edited the YouTube videos himself, and it took him days and nights. It was such hard work, and he put in so much work and love into them. So, yeah, we really, really appreciate it. So. Thank you, Ken. Again, if you're listening for putting in all the work.
Gareth:
Yeah, he better be mean. Okay, so then we'll move on to where we've been for the last week. We were away in Lisbon, Portugal, with a group on a retreat in an incredible retreat center, and we had a fabulous time. I actually missed the place. We had a lot of fun. Myself and Eva both took our running shoes with us, and we would get up early in the morning at 06:30 a.m. And go for a run in the mountains. And it was just incredible, wasn't it, Eva?
Eva:
Yeah, I mean, Portugal is so hilly, or at least the area where we were, so it's like when you go for a run, you have to run up the hill, down the hill again, up the hill. Like, it was very and yeah, it was very hard, but it was so nice because the sun rises a bit later, I think, than at least here in Austria. So we got to see the sunset at two or three days. So that was really nice. Sunrise. Sorry. Sunrise. Yeah, exactly. That was so beautiful. And yeah. Also, running every day helped my fitness level to improve, because when I ran for a run here back home, it's like I was so much faster. So that was really good.
Gareth:
Then we did it for me anyway. When I'm working in the group, I find that running fitness really helps with the energies. I don't know, it brings you into your body. It allows your system to hold such more energy for some reason. I'm not entirely sure why, but that's what I feel, that my body likes to move, it likes exercise, it likes doing yoga, and it really helps me when I'm working with people, and it helps the energies to come true a lot stronger.
Eva:
Yeah. I feel the system is just more clear and also there is more prana in the system. Right. So this must have something to do with it, let's say retreats, on retreats a few years or like a year back and so on. So when I was still more processing, more stuff, I did always the processing while running in the morning. So during the day, you're exposed to the energy. You sit there, you bathe in it so beautiful. And then you move, and then kind of stuff can start moving out of your system. So it's so good to do exercise. Some people did yoga in the morning.
Gareth:
And dance, I noticed. Yeah, some of them. Right. So we were in this beautiful kind of house, and at the top of the hill was where the retreat center was, where we did our meditations, our hall, and it was a beautiful 360 degree on top of a mountain, views in all directions of valleys and beautiful forests. And I think across the way there was some sort of a pilgrimage, was there, on the top of a mountain, a Catholic church. But the views were spectacular. So a lot of people would come up early in the mornings and they would do yoga, and some of them would do dance. And myself and Eva would come back down the mountains from our run and be greeted by those attending early meditation, because we would start quite early, at 08:00 a.m., we would do a 1 hour meditation every morning. So a lot of fun. So, yeah. Do we want to talk? Some exciting stuff has developed.
Eva:
Garrett, do you want to share first a little bit about how a day looks like for people who haven't been to your retreats? So how is a day set up?
Gareth:
Okay, perfect. So I like to pack in as much as possible. So this was a seven day intensive. Generally, we would all arrive a day prior to the start, and we'd get settled in. We'd have one meal in the evening time, and then the next day we get up early. We meet in the meditation hall at 08:00 a.m. And we meditate for an hour. And meditation is not normal meditation. When you're on a retreat, there's a transmission, there's a deepening of consciousness when you're sat in the group with the energy. So we would do a 1 hour meditation. We would break, we would go down, have some breakfast on the retreat, all the meals are catered for, so we just go in, we pick up our plate, all the food is laid out on a beautiful table. And it's the best food. I mean, they really had the best of food. All vegan and vegetarian foods.
Eva:
I think also organic and sugar free. So very clean food.
Gareth:
Yeah, in the evening times, in the dinners, they'd have a nice dessert and no sugar was used. I think the sweetness they would use would be honey was probably about it. So we would have, I don't know, like about after the first meditation breakfast, and after breakfast, maybe about an hour of a break, we would then head back up to the meditation hall. And most of the time we would start with shakti pass. We would give turdai shakti pass a few little breaks in between. People get up, stretch their legs, go to the bathroom, look at the beautiful view, stand in the nice weather and enjoy the sunshine. We would come back in, we would do a little bit more. Then usually lunch break at around 01:00, head back down, food is laid out on the table. Again, beautiful spaces outside, beautiful balcony that we could sit on and chat. Yeah, really nice. Usually we take an hour for lunch, then back up, then we would go again, more shakti pass. But then after about two days, we would shift into what's known as the SAF force. So the meditations would then we would drop some of the shakti paths and we would replace them with 90 minutes sittings. And that sounds like a lot, a long time to be sitting in meditation, but I mean, people couldn't get enough of it. Like this energy that comes in, it pulls them into that deep state of samadhi. And then we would break around 07:00. Then that evening, again, back down for dinner. We would have a two hour break around that time and then back up again at 09:00 p.m. To 10:00 p.m. For another late night meditation. And then usually afterwards, we all head back down the hill. We all sit around drinking tea, chatting. Eva's got the crystal out, she's asking questions. It's a lot of really, really is a lot of fun. But something different happened this time. We had a little bit of something came in. Eva, do we want to talk about what came in first? Yeah.
Eva:
Okay. So on the first day, we did the first meditation, right in the morning. So at 08:00, it's always a silent meditation, and a lot of information came in on that day for me. I mean, you said for you as well, so I don't know. It was just a lot of information. What happened is, let's say two weeks before, we were kind of talking about that we would like to give Darshan, or we were looking into it, what it is. Maybe you want to explain very shortly what it is.
Gareth:
I think we were both because obviously we really like the idea of working together, going into the future, and doing retreats together, and we were sort of trying to figure out what would be the best way how we could combine both of our gifts and put them into a retreat and what way it would work. And yeah, I think we were doing one of our shared YouTube meditations that we do. And during the meditation, I think Eva came back to me and she said, oh, I seen something during the session for you. Do you want to explain?
Eva:
So so there was just something behind the eyes and the nose in that area. It was just something I worked on, and I felt it as well in my system. So something got unlocked, but I didn't know what it was. And then yeah, when we had the meditation in the morning, the information came in that's for giving Darshan. So that unlocked forgiving Darshan. And then I felt energy coming in. So from the top of the head and through the eyes, and he was working on opening those.
Gareth:
Quickly. Just explain Darshan to anyone who doesn't understand. So Darshan is a transmission of spiritual energy normally given true sight. So I'll use the one person a lot of people would recognize would be Mother Mira. And for decades and decades, mother Mira gives Darshan. And you would go up, you would kneel down in front of Mother Mira, and she would look into your eyes, and the transmission of energy is given through the direct sight. And then it would be done in silence. You would go back to your seat then and meditate.
Eva:
Yeah. And she also touches the head, but that's the two things she does. And also, we both received Darshan from her before. A few times, right? Yes, twice for yeah, a few times more. I forgot. But a few times for me. And also she does it online as well. So when she starts her meditations, she gazes into the camera. And always when I did the meditations with her and I gazed into her eyes, I could feel like as if she was pulling me away, even though I was still there. And then I was always pulled in. Such a deep meditation, in like a Samadhi meditation. It was always really nice. Loved it. Yeah. So back to the retreat. The transmission is transmitted through the eyes and also channels in the hand opened up, and also in the feet. So these were the areas and yeah, then I got the information. This is forgiving Darshan. And I had to help it a little bit to open up more. So with the healing work, you can basically do anything you want. So I opened and expanded those channels for me and also for Garrett. Yeah, for you. And then we were talking about it during lunch, and I shared it with you, and you were like, yeah, okay, let's try it. Right? Let's do it right away. And I always love that you follow just your impulses, right? Because so many times on retreats, just something came up for you, and then you just implemented it right away. And it was always so cool. We did it this time, the two of us. That was really cool. So the first time we did something together, and yeah.
Gareth:
Do you want to special? I have to say, the whole experience of giving Darshan together was very special. Yes, I really, really enjoyed it. It was quite difficult for a lot of people. So, anyway, let me just set how it transpired. Myself and Eva would sit up the front, we would set cushions down in front of us, and then people would come up. So they would come to me first. I would give the Darshan, I would place my hands on the top of the head, and we would gaze into each other's eyes for I don't know how it came about, but the number that was coming was like 1 minute, 45 seconds, because I would just get the impulse to break away. And every time I looked at my timer, it was almost 1 minute, 45 seconds. So that was what we got. And then once they were finished with me, they would move over to Eva, and then Eva would do the very same. And people had very different reactions going from me to Eva. So it was almost like they were getting a double whammy of whatever was coming through me, and then whatever was coming through Eva, the qualities of the Darashan. But it was quite difficult for some. Some found it very difficult. I mean, it's very different to sitting there. And again, we're talking about transmissions here, so this is a work that myself and Eva do. It's very much energy based, but a lot of the times when we're doing it, people sit and close their eyes, and it's like, oh, I feel really nice. The energies, I'm connecting, I can go deep. With Darshan, it's very different. You're sat there, you're looking into another person's eyes, it's almost like you can see the soul through the eyes. And for a lot of people, it was uncomfortable. It was uncomfortable, especially on the first day. But then other people, they were feeling love, they were feeling mean. I don't know, many people I looked at had tears running down their face while we were doing it. Eva. So, I mean, the first day we did it, I also then received Darshan from Eva. I knelt down in front of Eva, I received Darshan from her, and then we both swapped. And actually I had this sort of very proud moment of Eva when I was knelt down, receiving it from her, I was like, wow, how far she's come in the last few years to go from yeah, it was beautiful.
Eva:
That was so beautiful. And that's the interesting thing because that's what I saw in your eyes when I was gazing. That was really beautiful. I love this moment. And in general, giving Darshan with you is like it's so special because it's double as strong, it's double as powerful. So that's how it felt like. It was just so powerful. The next days we switched, so I was first and then you were second, or the other way around. And what was so interesting is that every day was different for everybody and also what came through every day was different for us because sometimes more love was coming through, right? Then truth was coming through. So there's always information in it as well. Then there was like clearing stuff coming through.
Gareth:
So on the first day we did it in silence. And then the second day I had the impulse to use music, so we used classical music and I mean, it worked so well. The Darshan went on, we had a group of 25 people. The Darshan went on for a little bit over an hour and then afterwards we would sit in silence after the Darshan. So we would turn off the music and we would sit in silence for 30 minutes just to integrate what had just happened in the session.
Eva:
Yeah, and I will just briefly explain how I see the energy coming down because I think that's really nice. So how I see it, it comes directly from the Divine Mother and it's a new transmission. So it's a new transmission we basically channeled, right? So we haven't experienced this before. So it comes down and it lays over our bodies, I guess, if I want to call it like that. So it's just like a cocoon, a.
Gareth:
Big like a curtain or a cocoon curtain, yes.
Eva:
And then also over the person who knees in front of us. So it's on the outside, the space is transmitting and then also the energy flows through the eyes, into the eyes, directly to the soul. And the nice thing is there is no barrier, there is no distraction, there is nothing in the way, so it can directly flow. So the information flows directly into the soul. And that's why it's so touching for so many people, because they haven't experienced that before. I mean, it's also a sacred thing to look into somebody's eyes, right? But when there is also like this pure divine energy flowing into the soul, that's very beautiful. And touching the soul gets the memory of what it really is and what it has to do and what its job is basically going back to the Divine Mother or the Divine and emerging a pathway.
Gareth:
Would you say that they can then retrace back to them greater states?
Eva:
Exactly. So when you receive, like, one Darshan, it's basically it's enough. And the soul knows what to do. I mean, you can totally receive it more times, but it helps the soul to go back to the Divine.
Gareth:
We gave seven Darshans over the week.
Eva:
Yeah. And from the two of us, so it's 40.
Gareth:
Yes. But I think some people even wanted it twice a day. They were asking for more sessions.
Eva:
Yeah. And I just want to finish that because it gets transmitted through the eyes. Right. And then also through the hands. So mostly we were putting our hands on the head and the third eye, the fingers on the third eye. And then sometimes it always depended on the day, but the impulse came up to also put it on other body parts, like the back of the head or the back or the heart. And the cool thing is, we always got the same impulses because we're sitting in the same energy. Right. So we get the same information even though we sit beside each other. We haven't talked about it before, and then we do whatever we do. And then afterwards, we were chatting. Yeah. What came through for you? And then we were sharing, and it was always the same. So the same information. Yeah.
Gareth:
I think on even the second last day, we both turned to each other, and I was like I was talking to everybody journal. It was almost like I was sending programs, I was positive programs into their mind on how to awaken. And then you said something similar. You were like, yeah, I was doing the same. I was talking to their souls.
Eva:
Yeah, exactly.
Gareth:
So it was really incredible. Incredible.
Eva:
And then also the meditation afterwards, the integration. That's really important. And it's very interesting because the Darshan light then floods into the room. Can you say it like that? It just floods the room, basically. And it contains a lot of different lights, or it has a lot of different aspects. What the qualities? Right. So whatever is needed is coming through. And it was also like it changed. So we saw different lights coming in and doing different things. So it's really powerful.
Gareth:
Yeah. And there's all different nuances and flavors that are very subtle in the light, and they're doing different things, and at different times, they change. Like, every day was a completely new experience given Darshan, when you're looking into someone's eyes and you can see that there's absolutely no barrier between you and them for that energy to be sent into their system. Yeah. I mean yeah. Just the tears that were coming down people's faces as it was going. Joy, happiness. Really very special. Yeah. I can't wait so this is something that myself and Eva are going to look at doing in the future, is Darshan. And we've even looked at a layout for how it will look over the course of the workshops.
Eva:
Yeah. So we're already planning on having one quite soon, so we'll let everybody know.
Gareth:
When we have I mean, do you want to talk about that briefly? About so myself and Eva are going to do a live interview in Dublin with Paul from Positive Light magazine. He actually interviewed me a year ago and he wants to do an interview with the two of us in front of an audience. And then off the back of that, we're going to do a two day workshop somewhere and we're going to give Darashan for the two. So I'm very, very excited about that. But again, once we confirm dates, we can give all of that information out on our websites. But yeah, very exciting.
Eva:
Yeah. I'm so looking forward to the first workshop we do together. It's going to be so nice and so powerful. We got the feedback as well, right, that people really enjoyed the two of us working together and they felt it so much, so powerful, so powerful.
Gareth:
And even in doing this podcast, Eva, when we're talking, there's energy coming in, there's a transmission. I mean, I'm sitting in it now. The transmission is just flowing, flowing, flowing. And these transmissions and energies are stored in the podcast, so any of the listeners or the viewers who are watching on YouTube, there is a subtle transmission when you sit there and you're listening to the conversation. So it's really amazing. It's all just happening magically and there's so much happening.
Eva:
That's how it feels like, right? It's just happening magically. Yeah.
Gareth:
You're just sitting there watching us. There's no effort. It's just all this magic is happening and yeah, very exciting. So anything else to add to that?
Eva:
Yeah, I would like to share more about the Darshan, because it's very interesting also from our perspective, right, when we look into people's eyes, what's happening, right? And it's like you see people's blockages when you look into the eyes, you see the eye, then you see the masks. Yes. And all of that. And that's so interesting that this is even possible when you have just a normal conversation with somebody. Yes, you kind of see certain things, but just in this 1 minute, 45 seconds, what you can actually pick up from a person, and we are not even really looking, right. So it's like the energy is flowing, we kind of step back. But from that back perspective, you can perceive all this.
Gareth:
You can see it just even in the way they look, you can see it in the eyes, what's looking out. You can see the masks that people wear. And it's not that the masks are bad, it's just protection mechanisms people have in place to hide that part of them that they don't want anyone to see because that's what they need to protect. And in the Darshan, the barriers come down and you can see everything, everything's on display. It's not that we have details of what's going on in your life, but it's just we're looking into a place that is very sacred for some people and special, and they want to keep it secure.
Eva:
But the thing is, we forget right afterwards anyway, people were coming up, oh, what did you see? Me? And what did you do? And I was like, sometimes you might remember a little thing. Oh, yeah, I worked on your heart, or I worked on that, this or that. But the rest is gone. Yes, it's just gone. So no worries there. Everything goes anyways. And it's just so cool because that's why people go to these retreats. So that's why we go to this retreat. Want to get rid of the masks of the eye, thought of all the human conditioning of all the blockages. And that's just what's happening there. Right. And that's why it's so beautiful.
Gareth:
And it's an intensive and it is an intensive like it's seven days of sitting from 08:00 in the morning till 10:00 at night, being in that energy field. We're all staying in the one house. The energy is not it's not like you're leaving at nighttime and going back to your own home. You're staying in that bubble that's just there around all of us. We're sleeping in at nighttime. It doesn't switch off. And that's the beauty of staying at the retreat center, is that you're staying in that.
Eva:
And the energy is just so beautiful. It's so beautiful because it's so elevated. When you go back home, you just see the difference so much. Right?
Gareth:
Yeah.
Eva:
Because it's just an elevated state. Everybody's happy, everybody gets along so well. The vibration is really high. Everybody feels good even though people are processing stuff. But it's a very loving place to be. You feel like you're at home with family, so that's how everybody feels. And that's so beautiful.
Gareth:
I totally agree. It's a very safe and special space. I mean, you can definitely see some people releasing stuff, tears, but it just comes, it goes. There's no judgment. They're completely supported by everybody. It almost becomes like a family. It really does. A family only. No fighting and bickering between people. I mean, for 25 people, from what I could tell, everybody got on. There was just such a bonding with the group. Very special. But it always feels that way on every retreat.
Eva:
Yeah, it's really the people who feel drawn to come to your retreats are like that. And it's always such a beautiful crowd. And there is also space for socializing at breakfast, after breakfast or lunch, or dinner in the evening. There is time to chat, to have laughs. A lot of people laugh to hang out in the sun or go for a little walk. It's so nice. Everybody feels so welcomed and loved and so yeah, it's beautiful.
Gareth:
Yeah. So is there anything else we want to discuss about that, or should we move on?
Eva:
Yeah. Do you want to share a little bit about the shaktipat sessions compared to the Sat sessions? Explain it.
Gareth:
Sure. Okay. So the first two days, I mainly concentrate on giving shaktipat. So it's basically me working hands on with the participants. And what I'll do is I'll start very slowly with them. And how I do that is I give knee shakti pat, and I bring people up. I sit in the chair. I have a chair either side of me, and I will put my hands on each participant's knee. And we'll just sit there with our eyes closed, meditating for 15 minutes. And it's a really slow and gentle way just to start filling the system. Everybody else, we're sat in a big, beautiful circle. Everybody's in yoga chairs on the floor, and everybody else meditates. The 15 minutes, the bell will go, the two people will get up, they will go back to their seats, they will close their eyes, meditate. I'll bring two more people up. And we'll pretty much go through that on the first two days until we get through. Everybody twice in the evening times, I'll give turdai shakti path. So again, people stay seated, they're in the circle. I will move from person to person. And what I do is I put my two thumbs on the third eye. I'll give shaktipat through that way, which seems to be a much more potent way of receiving shaktipat because it's just going straight into the third eye. It's piercing that chakra, and it's then able to enter all chakras.
Eva:
It feels like it's flowing in and it's filling up the system. And it feels really nice. It's very pleasant. Yeah.
Gareth:
So I'll usually spend three minutes, depending. Sometimes I'm drawn to touch the heart, just the upper chest, the back of the neck. Yeah. And usually three minutes. If I see that somebody needs a little bit of extra time, I'll stay a little bit longer with them. But I'll generally move from person to person throughout. Takes about an hour and a half, an hour and 45 minutes. And we do that with music. Each day, we use different music. We'll use music for Krishna, for Kali, for different goddesses. So there's a sort of a flavor for each one, and they all feel very different. And then after the two days, I'll switch it up a little bit. Every morning we'll give Turdi shakti path, we drop the niche paths, and then later on in the day, we'll do 90 minutes sittings of where I integrate it with the Sat force. So it's just very deep meditations. People go really deep, really fast. They sit there suspended. It feels like you're suspended in consciousness. Nothing disturbs you. You can hear noises. We could hear music off in the distance. But it doesn't disturb the meditations because of the energy. Yeah. And that pretty much goes on the entire week. But this time we did it different. We also added in the Darshan after lunch.
Eva:
Yeah. I really love the Shakti Bhatt as well. And the sat meditations. It's like the energy feels so nice as well, right? So it pulls you in in such a deep state. So you're there, either you're gone anyways or you're very deep and you're still aware of what's going on and then you feel the pleasant energy in the system working. And it's beautiful. It's always like so really enjoyed that. As mean you have a retreat coming up really soon, so maybe you want to share about that.
Gareth:
So I have another one coming up in a little bit under two weeks time in Wicklow. So again, very similar. It'd be a very similar setup to the one we just did, but would be five days. And that's in Wicklow and Shleena bandey and there's still a few spaces left. The spaces with accommodation are a little bit tight. Mean there's space for men, for women, it's a bit tight on how the rooms are set up. Yeah, again, but you can make it work, right? I can always make stuff work. I will make it work. I had someone contacted me today, a woman, she wants to stay and I'll just make it work. I'll move things around. That's coming up in a little bit.
Eva:
Under two weeks and the setup is the same. The food is also really good.
Gareth:
Amazing food. Amazing. That's why I'm looking forward to five days have been handed my meals to me every day.
Eva:
That's luxury. No food shopping, just like no preparing, nothing. Just sitting down, eating.
Gareth:
Yes. With amazing.
Eva:
Exactly.
Gareth:
Yeah. So from there, where should we go? Eva, do we want to talk about yeah.
Eva:
You have something you did this week, something exciting, maybe you want to share?
Gareth:
Okay, so there's a couple of things. I was I was the guest on a podcast, an American spiritual podcast called the Awareness Explorers or Awareness Explorers by Brian and Jonathan. And I had known about this for some time and I did it, I think it was like two days ago. But in the meantime, I wanted to get my audiobook done. So I've also completed the audiobook. It's available now, so that's there. So, I mean, the podcast went really well. It was a little bit different. There was not so much about me and my story, it was more all about the transmissions and the different states. And they wanted me talking about all the various stages of awakening, from ignorance to witnessing consciousness, self realization, unity, consciousness. The ital came up, we spoke about Brahman briefly and then we did a transmission at the end. So there's also yeah, I gave them both transmissions that's embedded in the podcast or in the videos. I had a lot of two very, very nice guys. They have an amazing they have a very large following, and they've interviewed people like Adiyashanti, Deepak Chopra, Gangaji, Jan Frazier, Pamela Wilson, the list goes on. And yeah, really, really amazing. So I'm in. Yeah. Pretty good to be in the company of those teachers.
Eva:
Exactly. Do you know when it will be out?
Gareth:
So they're going to release that in the middle of October, because they do them. Yeah, they have other ones that they work on, so they'll take the video and they'll just do some minor touch ups and do the editing.
Eva:
So they're not doing it like we are. We recorded it. We upload it like an hour later. An hour later, three weeks in advance.
Gareth:
Yeah, they do. Yeah. We just get it out there as fast as possible. And I like that as well. But again, yeah, it was very yeah, the audiobook, that was a big one. There's a lot of work went into that audiobook. So that's available. It's slowly being released on the different platforms. So, I mean, you can get it on Google Play, it's on Spotify. Still waiting for it to come out on Audible. It's just not there yet. So once it's out on Audible, I'll send a newsletter to all my subscribers.
Eva:
And it's an audiobook about your book.
Gareth:
Yeah waking up from the dream and it's narrated by me. I recorded it, and it was very important that I recorded it because a lot of people suggested that I get a professional narrator to do it. I chose to do it because of the transmission. I wanted the transmission to come true in the recording, and it did. It so did every time I sat to record it, the energy that was coming down through the top of my head was so strong. And that's all embedded in the audio. So when you're listening to it, you'll be receiving the transmissions also.
Eva:
Yeah. I mean, that's so beneficial. Right. And that's what we used to listen to as well, to people's recordings or talking about their book, recording their book, and there were transmissions in them. It's just so helpful. So you get both the information for the mind and also for the system, the information for the I mean, one.
Gareth:
Of the most profound ones for me was Satri's teaching of the Bhagavad Gita, and it was just him talking. He wasn't actively transmitting. But I would feel a very strong transmission a number of years ago, listening to them YouTube videos and then realized that when we talk, there's also a transmission that comes in because it's consciousness, talking to consciousness, about consciousness. And then the listeners who are listening, it's just there. Everything is just coming in for them, energy wise and energetic wise.
Eva:
Exactly. And that's a way of moving forward on the spiritual path. So fast again, right, with the transmissions, wherever they can be, in recordings, in podcasts, in audiobooks, in videos. Yeah. So good to be exposed.
Gareth:
Yeah. And again, that's something that myself and Eva do. Like, eva does really amazing healing meditations on our YouTube channel. Do you want to talk a little bit about them? Because I see them because obviously I'm subscribed to your channel and I'm seeing you do these little short series of healings for like could you want to talk a little bit about them? Eva?
Eva:
Yeah. So I release every Monday a short healing series. There is one between five and seven minutes transmission, and it's for something specific, and it's always in the title, like Unconditional Love, joy Removing of Fear or Anger or, I don't know, like Surrender. The last one was the highest truth. So it's always clearing. So always clear low vibrational energies out of the system and replace them with that energy that is in the title. So, yeah, it's very beneficial. It's very strong and it's very short. If people need something quick, they can.
Gareth:
Just yeah, I mean, seven minutes, everyone can sit for seven minutes.
Eva:
Yeah, so there are people that listen to it multiple times, but yeah, one time, but yeah, they're really powerful. And then on Wednesday, I release either a channel healing video, so where I have like a 25 minutes channel healing in him, or the activation of the spiritual being. And then on Thursday evening, there's the Zoom meditation I record and then I release it on Friday, similar to what I do as that. That's where I have it from. Garrett, I learned from you. I learned everything from you. I don't know if people know, but you kind of started all this because before COVID came, this was the time when you started and then there was COVID. So there wasn't really anything else to do back then.
Gareth:
Right, but go online.
Eva:
Yeah, but go online. So, I mean, we met online on your weekly meditations, then the weekend retreats, then you had all these videos. So it was kind of yeah, it was just a time to do it. And you did it. Yeah, you did it every week, every day, like something new.
Gareth:
And now you're doing the same, which.
Eva:
Is great to see. Exactly. And people love it, so why not love it?
Gareth:
And it's just about being consistent and consistently giving them something that they can work with and they can take home and sit within silence.
Eva:
Exactly.
Gareth:
They have some time.
Eva:
Yeah. And it's so beneficial because when they have a session with you or they have a session with me, then a process is started. And then when they kind of sit in the energies afterwards to the YouTube videos, it's coming in again, it's continuing the work, so it's so beneficial to and again, the process just happens so much faster then, right. If you're exposed to the energies and if you.
Gareth:
Think I'm not sure if you noticed, I done one as well this week. It was the first one I had done in a while, I'm going to do a little series as well. I called it the Samadhi Experiment, and I'm going to do something a little bit similar to what you're doing with them short healing videos, but I'm going to do it with the samadhi. So I'm going to add in a different flavor each week, and then I'm going to see what people come back with, what they feel. Yeah. So that's the experiment. That's what inspired me.
Eva:
That's interesting. And then you get the feedback and then you kind of know what works best. Is that what the experiment is about?
Gareth:
Yeah. So again, we're talking about the samadhi state being suspended in meditation. It's not the individual trying to get into a meditative state. It's the absolute taking your awareness and pulling it back into itself. That's what samadhi is. Okay. And when you're in samadhi, it's like, firstly, there's different kinds, right? And the two main kinds that I experienced were nirvakalpa samadhi and savakalpa samadhi. And savakalpa samadhi is when you're suspended in that state, but your mind and your awareness is still active. Okay? So you're there, you're aware of what's happening in the body, but you're just held almost like you're just suspended in gelatine or jelly or something like that. And it's a really beautiful state, but there's all these different nuances and different flavors of that samadhi that can come in. And I mean, this was going on for months and months, and each time I'd be like, oh, isn't this beautiful? Isn't that beautiful? So that's what I'm doing in this. I'm going to consciously and actively insert the flavor at the start of the session, and then I'm going to let people sit, feel it. They can come back, they can say what they feel. And then every couple of sessions, I'm going to switch it up and I'm going to actively bring in that near vocalpa Somality. And I kind of have the idea of kind of the color coding for each one will change. Yeah.
Eva:
Oh, beautiful. So nice. Yeah. It's so interesting that there are ideas coming up. The ideas are coming in, and then you just go for them, right, and you manifesting them.
Gareth:
And as well, I have a beautiful space now for people watching on YouTube. I've changed my living quarters. I now have this beautiful space where I can record all my videos as an office space. And yeah, I just felt more inspired to do more YouTube videos because of the nice brightness and the energy in the very nice.
Eva:
Really, really nice. I love the blue. I really like the blue in the back. Yeah. Beautiful color. Yeah. Cool. About the YouTube videos, so the meditation I do on Thursday, I also record and put it on YouTube.
Gareth:
As for people who might miss the zoom or they just want to exactly, exactly.
Eva:
They can watch back, meditate back. And I'm implementing now the Darshan, also in all my work. So first time yesterday I was using it, and it's basically what I do, I just stare into the camera. Stare into the camera and then people can look into the screen and just have the eyes open, basically, that's enough. And then receive the energy. And then the quality of the healing session is very different as well. It's a lot stronger because the Darshan energy is just so strong. Right. And the meditation was very different as well, because of the new energy coming in. It was just so deep and strong. Love it.
Gareth:
Can I just stop you, Eva, just to explain that the Darshan, it's a different, like, because there's some people who can give shaktipat through the eyes, okay? That's not what this is. It's not healing through the eyes. It's not the sat force through the eyes. It's not shakti. This is a new energy. It's like a light that comes true.
Eva:
Yes.
Gareth:
And it has a completely different quality.
Eva:
It's completely different. So, yeah, that's what I said before it came in on the retreat. For us, it's a new energy we have never worked before with. So, yeah, it's totally new and it's channeled directly from the source, from Divine Mother. So it's just very pure and extremely powerful compared to the other lights as well. So it's really transformative.
Gareth:
Amazing.
Eva:
And it feels so nice, doesn't it? It feels so nice.
Gareth:
I mean, for me, after the dark, Shannon, when I sit there, it's like, oh, it's just so nice. I don't want to move. I could sit there for hours afterwards. So, I mean, when we're doing it, obviously we're working, we're not always very comfortable in the positions that we're doing it, but it's so nice. Then once we've cleared the room and we sit back, we switch the music off into silence. It's just the energy that comes in after. It's just incredible.
Eva:
Exactly. And when we do our retreats, right, so that's what we are planning on to do. So giving Darshan and then sitting in silence to implement it, and then everybody can just bathe in the beautiful.
Gareth:
So I think the way me and Eva will work will be it will be Darshan based. The retreats will be more based on Darshan and silent sittings for longer periods of time.
Eva:
Yeah. Because that's so beneficial. You get this powerful energy in you have, like, directly transmitted into the soul, then the process can start, and then you're sitting in these energies and you can go deep as well. Right. You can go into Samadhi as well. And it's just a very effective and powerful way. So that's how we like it.
Gareth:
And you get two for the price of one.
Eva:
Exactly.
Gareth:
You get so much more.
Eva:
Yeah. And everybody reported feeling something different with you and me every day, so that was so interesting as well.
Gareth:
Yeah. Apparently I was more loving Eva.
Eva:
Yeah. So interesting. Everybody was like, Garrett was so much so loving and so much love came through and yeah, they really felt it. You have a lot of love in you, Garrett.
Gareth:
Yeah, well, I was well fed, so that's why they were feeling the love for me.
Eva:
Okay. That's what it needs. Good food.
Gareth:
Good food. Good food. Yeah. So anything else? So I think we're going to have Ken back on the next podcast we want to talk a little bit about.
Eva:
So we the last podcast will be where Ken is going to ask questions that are important for him to be answered. And also he feels like a lot of people who are on the spiritual path would have the same questions. So, yeah, he wrote down, I don't know, 1015 questions for us, and he's just going to ask us those questions and we're going to answer them. Yeah. So looking forward.
Gareth:
But he's not editing this this time, which is going to be so it'll be straight up. It won't take a week or two for editing.
Eva:
Yeah, exactly. It was just the last one, of course, because he implemented all these little videos and photos and stuff.
Gareth:
And then obviously with the two of us been away, we didn't have computers with us and we also had limited access to WiFi, so we couldn't upload it the week that it was supposed to go up. But a lot of people have watched videos now and listened to the podcast on the various channels.
Eva:
Exactly.
Gareth:
Very exciting. So anything else eva?
Eva:
Yeah, I mean, as fast as you are always, you have already put up dates for the next Portugal retreat where I have registered already as well. And a lot of people have. I know.
Gareth:
Yes. A lot of mean, straight yeah. People were like, oh, we want to do it again, we want to do it again. So I went to the owners, booked in seven days for I think it's towards the end of September. It's up on my website. February, sorry. It's limited to 30 people this time due to the packages that they've worked out. So basically what you get is you come, you get your accommodation, you have beautiful room, beautiful rooms shared, though, but always very clean. Very clean.
Eva:
Very clean.
Gareth:
And then you get three meals a day. There's tea, there's coffee on demand. And then you get me the great energies.
Eva:
Exactly. Yeah.
Gareth:
So, yeah, that's coming up soon. Yeah. Anything else?
Eva:
I think we have shared a lot that was, like, packed so much.
Gareth:
Absolutely. I don't even know what we're going to call this episode.
Eva:
Just packed with news. So many different news. Yeah. I don't know. I think that was a really good one. I loved it. It was exciting.
Gareth:
Yeah. Really?
Eva:
That's exciting. Yeah.
Gareth:
It's just so much is happening and it's just spontaneously happening and yeah. I just hope that it carries on over to everybody listening and they can hear the enthusiasm and the positive energy that's coming true. And the work we do and definitely try and get to that two day event that myself and Eva are going to do in when did we say we're looking at? November?
Eva:
Yeah. I think beginning of November we're going.
Gareth:
To look at again, I'll just quickly clarify what that is. During the week, we're going to do a live interview that is going to be recorded. So you will be able to if you can't make it, you can watch the video, or if you don't live in Ireland, you can watch the video. And then off the back of that, we're going to run a workshop given Darcia together.
Eva:
Yeah.
Gareth:
And then from there on, who knows what's going to happen.
Eva:
Yeah. Great things.
Gareth:
Yeah. Amazing. So shall we wrap it up with yes. Amazing.
Eva:
Thank you so much, Gert. It was so much fun. Again, enjoyed it so much. Always also, like, thinking back of last week, I mean, it feels already, like, so long know that's always how it is. It was nice thinking back, and it was such a great retreat. So thank you so much for organizing it, because it's so much work organizing a retreat. People don't know.
Gareth:
People don't see it.
Eva:
Of course they don't. Just how it is. So thank you so much. And it was a great time. We had a great time.
Gareth:
Yeah. Amazing. Thank you so much.
Eva:
Okay. Thank you. Thank you, everybody, for listening.
Gareth:
Thank you, guys. Bye.
